Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats is a veterinary medicine, available without prescription, containing Fipronil to help control fleas and ticks. It kills fleas for up to five weeks and ticks at the time of treatment.
Used routinely Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats can help protect your cat from fleas. However, if your cat already has fleas the following steps will help you get on top of it. 1. Treat all pets in the family 2. Reapply treatments at the label-recommended interval 3. Vacuum floors and soft furnishings and wash pet’s bedding at 60°C on a regular basis 4. Treat the house with a long-lasting household flea spray, such as Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray 5. Contents: 6 pipettes
- Ingredients: Fipronil 50mg, Butylhydroxyanisole (E-320), butylhydroxytoluene (E-321), benzyl alcohol (E-1519) and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether.
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE.
Do not remove the pipette from the foil blister until you are ready to use the product.
Weigh your cat carefully before application to ensure they weigh 1kg or more.
- Use the easy-peel corners to remove the pipette from its blister pack.
- Holding the pipette upright, tap the neck section to ensure the contents fall back into the body of the pipette.
- Carefully snip off the top of the pipette using scissors.
- Part your cat’s fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the pipette onto the skin.
- Apply half the pipette between the shoulder blades and apply half at the base of the neck, directly onto the skin.
Do not allow children to play with your pet until the fur is fully dry.
For continuous protection, reapply every four weeks.
